100 editions minted on KnownOrigin, November 2022, Dada Dreams concept
I started minting this with a different name and ended up minting the thumbnail first. Given a 100 edition, burning the 100 was a big blow. I tired to latch on to the karma and renamed it in honor of memory and loss. The library is a place I came back to as a concept with Dada Dreams. A place of comfort beyond reading. A place from my childhood where I could be. I guess I was blessed to have access to some great libraries at my youth and to some great librarians. To that end, I guess I am a relic with a huge respect for the profession. The librarian here is a special one with special guest and multiple images overlaid. I enjoy making him go through the changes and also have a chat with Pablo on the side. A truly great influence on our lives by direct and indirect means. Dada therapy works I guess, burn it, lose it, gain something. Is this my ash? Is this my salvation? Would you be part of it? Well if you read all this, you're very dear to me. A special connection..
Going through a dark period within and without, my experimentation urge and capacity is heightened. It's possibly a lifeline to latch on. Creation nowadays controls my disorder and gives meaning. Dada Dreams is an experiment to reflect some of my darker thoughts into AI assisted visual outputs. Among the completed pieces so far, I've gone between extensively edited GIFs and relatively untouched stills. Inspiration for the project was primarily the Dada movement.
