A photo of the city of Florence, taken from Giardino Bardini, on a beautiful day in the Tuscany region of Italy. I had never seen Florence before the day I took this photo. In 2019, a friend of mine called me to let me know that he would be proposing to his girlfriend in Florence, and asked if by any chance I could help him by surprising her with an engagement photoshoot. As I live in Verona (fairly close by), I told him I could take a trip there for the day and take the photos for him. I positioned myself on this hillside a little bit before they arrived, and began to take photos when he began to propose (without her knowing I was there). Everything turned out perfectly, as did the photos afterwards. Before leaving that spot, I set up my gear and took one last photo...this one. - F
