Digital photography
Since the beginning of 2000 I started my research on abstraction in photography ( using digital cameras) based on the study of natural light and its variations without subsequent interpolation with software but just carefully planning the shot. I recreate spiritual and minimalist images mainly in black and white starting from strong contrasts to ethereal gray fades.
The "Matrices" portfolio is just one example.
The Matrices evoke the preliminary stage of the formation of codes, universal "light" writings that are indecipherable and incomprehensible at the moment, like encrypted messages that are hard to read, with which all mankind and different worlds will be able to communicate freely without constraints. From the Matrices subsequently came the cycles of Scriptures and Alphabets , languages and their related decoding that reveals the meaning of these universal messages.
