Contemplate is a reflection upon oneself. It’s a reminder to take the time to look in the mirror once in a while to check in with yourself. To make sure you, your goals, spirit and well-being are all aligned and working harmoniously together. It also plays on reflecting on ones past mistakes and learning from them.
001// to[SPACE]gether is a multi.disciplinary artist group collaboration exploring concepts and themes of the future of SPACE in the METAVERSE. For this NFT project, @LUISFERN5 wanted to bring together a group of artists from different disciplines and distinct points of views to collaborate on one joint project in the spirit of CREATING and inspiring thought around what SPACE, ART & CULTURE could mean in the Metaverse.
16 artists were identified, and through a series of vague “SECRET FILES” correspondence they were given sequential instructions, assets and inspiration to begin the collaboration, revealing the project along the way.
Every artist was dropped the file with a spatial image from the dis[PLACE]:constructs series and was asked to investigate, manipulate, add-to and transform through their CREATIVE PROCESS.
15 works emerged. Each visually distinct, a unique blending of creative minds and disciplines, to create a collective of work that will live in the METAVERSE and on the blockchain. All linked to[SPACE]gether by a shared creative spirit that is transforming the way we view, experience and collect art and collectibles.
Jonathan Foley, known as JR in the NFT space, has walked many different lives in the art scene. His resume threads a fine line through his life and travels from Philadelphia whilst struggling to pay bills as a starving artist, to dealing art remotely for others while living in New York City. From there his travels took him to Denver, Colorado, teaching middle school art, to giving private art lessons in Boston. JR now finds himself residing in Venice beach, California, focusing full-time in the NFT art realm. Now one of the most recognized NFT artists in the world, JR has since focused most of his artistic talents to the “art of marketing” in the NFT space and has not looked back since.
Luis Fernandez is a Hybrid Creator, an architect and designer; his work brings together disciplines in both the metaverse and the real world. His digital constructs displace physical places to create new digital spaces, experiences, architectures & landscape
