Plato once said that “this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence ... a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related.” This painting represents that connection.
Anima Mundi means “the soul of the universe” in Latin. Unfortunately, humanity has always been at war with itself, discriminating others for one reason or another and forgetting that we are all the same and all one. If we were conscious to this reality we would nurture and care of each other, this planet, and all that share it with us.
