The Piece: 2021 Special Edition Collaboration
This animation draws on themes from both artists’ 2021 KO collections. The outcome is a piece celebrating an ethereal beauty. The detailed imagery and muted tones in an otherworldly setting evoke a more subdued, but still powerful, sense of visual pleasure compared with Anna’s other pieces. It is a captivating and truly unique artwork.
The physical painting of the bird was developed over a 6-month period and may be available for purchase separately on request.

Anna’s work is primarily an exploration of innate beauty. Her pieces celebrate our emotional connection with fundamental elements of beauty, rather than things we are conditioned by society to think of as 'beauty'. The feelings evoked by beauty of this kind, the beauty found in nature, colour, light, and the human form, are universal and core to our humanity.
Anna’s 2021 collection looks at the relationship between NFT art and its audience. With the rise of NFTs, we are seeing an artistic revolution gravitating back to the instincts of taste. This will be seen in history as pioneering, and her genesis collection is a celebration of this movement. Kant distinguished between judgement of taste and cognitive judgement. The latter ascribes goodness to things, the former is an instinctive response to something: the feeling you get from encountering something you perceive as beautiful. Too often in Art today this distinction is overlooked, and work with the teleology of taste alone is belittled or mocked. This collection comprises of pieces that are designed to evoke an instinctive sense of beauty.
