In these one-of-a-kind photographs, people take on their animal avatars. Which are you? Animals blur the line between our digital identities and human selves. They let us slide into a fantastical and surreal world where identities shift and we become characters of our imagination.
This series captures people wearing their bespoke animal masks to become exquisite digital beings. Shot sometimes on film, sometimes on digital, each photograph evokes a fairytale world where lost creatures wander among the woods searching, roasting marshmallows around a fire, and contemplating their existence.
With every photograph, a unique soundtrack will be unlocked and can be enjoyed both with the image and independently. This is the first of many collaborations between sister-and-brother duo, Rania and Rashid Ajami who always focus on storytelling as the core to their audio and visual explorations.
