It's the day after.
We sit in the cool breeze of the lake,
trying not to think about the heat from yesterday.
It all grows back,
this time it will take longer,
but the bush will sing again.
This artwork is the third in a series, sharing my experience and feelings during and since the Black Summer of 2019-20, an intense bushfire season we experienced in Australia. It is an animated GAN image, trained from photographs I took during that time and my textile artworks.
