Growing up in rural Ohio, I spent most of my time in the woods. The arrowheads, bullet casings, and bones I found were treasures that led me to think of other worlds. Gunpowder shows a space in time before guns were introduced in America - a time when the people here were deeply connected with the beauty of the land.
