The Aureate - Sixth Avatar of The Nameless
The Nameless - a pantheon of dark avatars, mystified demi god-like entities consisting of countless fractals of reality, from which they create their own abstract image.
Eventhough without name, each emanation carries a title, whispered in fear at best, given by the inferior humanoid races - their prey and ressource of power - for they cannot keep their materialised froms without absorbing human consciousness.
Their true origin is forever unknown, incomprehensible to the human mind, but their presence, their energy has always been here... since the beginning of time; manifesting in a star exploding, the drought of a planet, the demise of a galaxy, or the unspeakable force of a black hole.
What has been invisibly lurking in the dark, for millions of years, has now found its perfect host; it's most nourishing source of power...
Our consciousness
-Technical background-
A 100% created in Photoshop, each piece is the result of countless hours of fractalizing, merging & arranging small fragments of photographs (in this particular case all part of the original skull render by Billelis, more infos below) and so these pieces are based on shards of our 'reality', but abstracted & redefined. From random bits & pieces, "skeletons" are created, piece upon piece built on top of each other, to slowly adapt a form that the human mind would interpret as somewhat of a living being, a creature with familiar yet alienated shapes.
