Infrared photography gives you the chance to record what the eye cannot see. To give brief information; The human eye is sensitive to light in a restricted region between 400 nanometers (violet spectrum) and 700 nanometers (red spectrum), known as visible light. Unfortunately, we cannot see above or below this. In this collection; there are different colour tones because of different infrared wavelenghts. As the wavelength increases, the colors begin to turn to more pastel hues, and the foliage take on the white tones. As the wavelength decreases, the colors change to more vibrant hues, and the foliage take on the orange hues.
Karacabey Flooded Forest is one of the best places to shoot infrared in Bursa. there are not only trees but also cows left to roam free by the villagers. This photograph has been taken on a sunny beautiful day.

Born in 1968, living in Bursa / Turkiye, textile engineer. Specialized in landscape, conceptual & infrared photography, I yet trying different kinds of photography as well as street & urban life. I am a holder of the artistic title of EFIAP which is given by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP). I am a member of BUFSAD (Bursa Fotoğraf Sanatı Derneği). I have more than 800 awards & acceptances from international & national photography competitions. My works have been repeatedly published in albums, magazines, calendars, domestic and foreign catalogs and participated in international post-contest exhibitions. The Turkish team, which I am honored to be a part of it, achieved great success in the "Digital images" category at the FIAP Color Biennial held in France in 2021, and was awarded the bronze medal by being the 4th out of 42 countries.
