It was a place of refuge for those who could afford it, a safe haven from the constant barrage of wind and rain. But now, the storm was changing. The winds were getting stronger, the rains more violent. And the city was starting to crumble. The first to go were the skyscrapers. They toppled like dominoes, smashing into the streets below. The storm raged on, unabated. The next to go were the bridges. They collapsed under the weight of the debris, plunging into the roiling waters below. The city was falling apart, and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it. As the storm continued to ravage the city, the people who had once called it home were forced to flee. They fled to the safety of the storm shelters, the only places left that could offer any protection. And as the city was consumed by the storm, the people huddled together in the shelters, waiting for the storm to pass.
