Leopold had to explain the situation to his manager. Time was running out, so he took a shortcut and scanned the target's Entity ID remotely — even though the description was off. He figured the E-ID was more reliable anyway. It scanned in as a match. The target was in the trunk by the time Leopold noticed that the scan came back as a swapped part. What's a campaigning politician doing this far from the city center, with a swapped E-ID marked for liquidation?
