Subsequently, some unfortunate events occurred and despite his powerful message, 103 hours and 20 minutes after this tweet was posted, @iamashchild did in fact leave the RTFKT community.
This Etch has been created to commemorate the historic moment and serve as a reminder to both the RTFKT and Azuki communities that it's only when we stick together that we are "the strongest i've ever seen".
The artwork itself uses CloneX #15423 as the 'Etch input' and depicts two intertwined rings, representing each respective community, rotating in harmony together. The ethereal nature of the piece references RTFKT's extraterrestrial origins and the flower at the centre of the artwork is a nod to both 'The Garden' and RTFKT's legendary collaborator, Takashi Murakami.
Proceeds from this Etch will be used to gift Clones to Azukis and Azukis to Clones in perpetuity - starting with CloneX #15423 which will be gifted to @iamaschild - LFG.
