It’s time to put on chain, a legendary story about the genesis NFT piece of Zancan. The Oak Tree part #0,-1, along with its physical plotter signed in blood. It was originally purchased by Ash White, aka Kid Crayon, even before it was minted. A beautiful gesture of faith, that gave Zancan the necessary funds to join the NFT space. Next in the provenance of this piece is me, Aramunu. A generative art collector. It became a virtuous cycle, as the funds I spent to acquire this piece enabled Kid Crayon in his own journey. What gives all this even more meaning is the importance of an Oak Tree to Zancan. Let me share with you what he shared with me. ‘I always wanted to make Oak trees because they were the trees from my childhood. I was always hiding in them, there were a lot of them around the house, tall and old, such a wonderful hideaway. Where I live now, there’s a nice garden but no Oak tree. In creating this piece, I wanted the viewer to feel like he was inside the tree, surrounded by branches and leaves. Just like in my memories of childhood.’ When he told me this, it solidified what an iconic piece the Oak Tree truly is. Shortly after I acquired the NFT, Zancan worked tirelessly over a physical plotter as a gift. As he went to sign it, an accident occurred and two drops of his blood fell on the plotter where his signature was supposed to be. The physical was instead signed in blood.  An almost unbelievable story of provenance in all its forms. This story is now etched on chain.
