The story opens with the disappearance of three teenage girls from their quiet suburban neighborhood. An investigation by local police reveals no evidence that they were abducted or attacked in any way. However, there are more disturbing clues when it turns out one of the girls was a regular participant on a very popular online gaming site called the World.
