When Chani was a kid, she loved rabbits. She had a pet rabbit named Thumper and she would spend hours playing with him in her backyard. Her mom would always tell her to be careful with Thumper because he was delicate, but Chani never listened. She would roughhouse with him and sometimes even unintentionally hurt him. But Thumper always forgave her and they would continue playing together. As a teenager, Chani began to experiment with her appearance. She dyed her hair Sandy and started growing out her Mohawk. She also began wearing more makeup and experimenting with different styles of clothing. Some people at school thought she looked weird, but Chani didn't care what they think. She liked the way she looked and that's all that mattered to her. Now an adult, Chani is a successful author of fantasy novels.
