Why are FLUFs so chill? How is it that even the FLUFs with the most angry expressions, even those that are SHAKING, still ride in deep harmony with the beat? One major reason is because of the work done by influential FLUFs like the infamous Philosopher, Mystic, and Rain Dancer Alan Hopps Watts. In the era when FLUFs still loved carrots more than music, instead of connecting to the disc jockey a FLUF was more likely to be found jockeying for position for the limited carrots, Lambos, Demon Masks, and mating opportunities. Hopps Watts was no different, he was living the fast life until a launch error sent his spaceship careening back into his mansions launchpad in a horrific accident. Hopps awoke in Heaven with a zombie body surrounded by two Gold FLUFs. Through a simple wink the message was transmitted to Hopps that he and all FLUFs could become Non Fungible in the future if collectively they could find a source of harmony to love more than carrots and status. Hopps was given a choice.. he could be sent back into the Matrix to his life before the accident with no memory of Heaven.. or he could keep the knowledge but live through the painful aftermath of the crash. Hopps swallowed the red pill and was shown by the Gold and Red Eyed Silver FLUF how deep the rabbit hole goes! Hopps was eventually sent back to his physical life and during an agonizing recovery all his fungible friends and lovers slowly disappeared. Once healthy, Hopps became part of a giant movement to spread the harmony, knowledge, and the Beat of Life he was given. He traveled the world, wrote over 25 books, created new dances, and introduced the counterculture to the The Way of FLUF. Slowly but surely via the work done by Alan Hopps Watts and countless others, lagomorphs who evolved to love dope beats more than carrots became forever the Non Fungible, unfuckwitable, FLUFs.. Alan currently resides in the swamp where he hosts raves and spreads harmony in all its miraculous forms. Those FLUFs who still follow and spread The Way are known to wear Kimonos AND smoke pipes.
