Awarded the six shots under a rising sun (SSRS) in recognition of heroic acts. At great risk and expense to self, Lt. Chip Ledger’s actions directly resulted in the preservation of the lives of the survivors of the 10th Battalion in what has come to be known as ‘The Wreck’.

Chip does not speak of that time nor does any other that bore witness, though every so often in his sleep he can be heard muttering of an ancient city and armour clad warriors of the sea not known to this day. Some say that the deep black, purple ringed eye unique to him and those that he saved is a reflection of ‘The Event’, some say that in his eye you can see the end. Whispers of the unimaginable, an abuse of the sacred mycelium spore and a civilisation gone. The fabled battlefield now referred to only as ‘The Wreck’.
Chip’s heart beats the beat of the fluffle and with years gone by he has returned to the care free life of the party, his fatigues and weapons swapped out for his leathers and his Bobber. His work now is still to protect the Fluffle. Under the great Tree and the watchful eyes of the ancient one, he reinforces the Ledger nano systems guarding the networks of their knowledge, history and the secrets of the mycelium Spore.
He still often wakes with a dream of a shadow. Often he stops in his tracks with an itch behind his ear that sends his attention into the distance.
It couldn’t be… they were decimated alongside his own… the Horde?
