Mark Furry was the most unlikely soldier you'd ever seen. He hopped around in his black top tank, looking like a cute little rabbit who had somehow managed to join the military by mistake. But appearances can be deceiving, and Mark Furry was anything but an average bunny.
Since he was young, Mark Furry had been driven by a deep sense of patriotism and duty. While other rabbits hopped from one carrot patch to another, gathering up food for their families, Mark Furry dreamed of serving his country with pride and honor - even if it meant giving up some of his furry comforts.
And so at age 18 he enlisted in the army and never looked back. For years he trained hard day and night under the toughest conditions imaginable, honing himself into a skilled solider capable of taking on any mission that came his way. Yet despite all this hard work, Mark Furry still retained his cuddly exterior; no matter how intense or difficult things got during training exercises or missions abroad there was always something comforting about seeing him hop around wearing that familiar black top tank – reminding everyone (even hardened soldiers) that even though war is serious business – life should still be enjoyed!
So when it finally came time for him to retire after 20+ years of service in various branches of the military-people cheered for him as they lined up along Main Street USA ready to give our beloved hero one final salute before he left off into civilian life once again as just "plain old" Mark Furry - The Furry Rabbit Soldier Extraordinaire!
