On January 1st, 2022, the term "Noggles" was coined in the Nouns DAO Discord following a call from nouns gal (Emma) to find an official name for the beloved Nouns glasses. I answered "Noggles?" along with a couple of other suggestions. Few took notice at the time, but not long after, Nouns enthusiasts increasingly referred to the glasses as "Noggles". The name stuck.
