this particular sunset had a glassy lustre
similar to the lava of a volcano.
every time i look at the image, it reminds me of one of the most impressive sunsets i've seen at this location.
the location is somewhere that we frequent every summer.
a unique place where the merrimack river and the atlantic ocean collide creating a peninsula where we camp.
obsidian will always stand alone as a marker to rate other sunsets that we see every summer when we visit the peninsula.
we return this coming sunday!
