Waldeinsamkeit is a German word meaning to be alone, connected to nature whilst being in the woods. I wanted to find a term the describes my feeling when looking back at this creation.
Call it a collage, a vector, science fantasy - it is all these things and more.
I've developed a system of work which is helping experiment with conventional techniques, producing unconventional digital patterns, ‘textures’ and importantly, vibrancy.
This system has me mixing digital, photo, pixels with colours of my choice which were difficult to achieve with just photos and filters. Every item has smaller details, for example patterns in shades, which add to the overall make-up of this creation. Finally able to achieve the type of feel I want for my science fantasy digital art.
