This artwork is the sequel of "New Day(s)" and part of my Tokyo and Kappa series. As New day(s) was focused on sunrise, this one is dedicated to the sunset. The technical skills for this piece are the same: - Augmented Reality 3D scan, thanks to an iPhone 12 Pro and a LiDAR capture app, I have scanned and edit this street from Tokyo (Suzuran Street near Yanaka Ginza) - Virtual Reality sculpting: With an Oculus Rift and Adobe Medium, I have sculpted some elements like the Koi carp and the clouds. - 3D software, as Adobe Fuse for the base character and Blender for the procedural shaders, the composition and the export. - I have polished my video on AfterEffects (smoothing the 10s loop and adding some shining effects) and finally I have created the musical loop on LogicPro. The file is an h264 .mp4,10s, 2048x2048pixel,72dpi. Original rendered export is from Blender at 25images/second than I upscaled it to 60 images on AfterEffects, in order to smooth and give a subtle dreamy mood to the video.
