Life is exposed without protection to the irreparable risk of contingency. But we all have a craving for spirituality inside of us, a call to the Divine. Many of us may shut that part of ourselves and keep it in the depths of our minds.
When you unleash the beast of the unknown, the uncertainty of living, you may realize that life never belongs to us as a mere presence of which we are owners, but it is something that carries with it the key, transcendent and impossible to unravel, of mystery.
We might have felt like we’ve all been lost cries in the night, but we are much more than that, we are one.
With this collaboration Nima and I wanted to deal with the subject of spirituality, giving it a physical form between environment and mind.
The pyramid levitating over a timeless place among the ruins of the temples of the past becomes the emblem of mystery. It keeps spinning in its eternal becoming and movement. The reference to the number three, symbol of divine perfection, is very present, clearly legible in the shape of the pyramid itself, as in the reflections it generates with the three suns. The sky relates to all of this showing the eternal movement and the Empire of the Mind itself, the human condition of the continuous search for the unknown.
