Dark tourism is a concept where you visit the worlds most darkest places ever historically associated with death, tragedy and suffering.
In 2017, I've visited Chernobyl. Took the tour to visit Kiev, Pripyat, and Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor Site.
The ghost city of Pripyat was amazing. When the government back then declared an evacuation, people didn't have any time to take their belongings with them.
All they packed was their clothes in small bags.
Pripyat was one of the richest cities in the whole world back then as the wages of the workers of Nuclear site was enough for them to become wealthy.
But money didn't solve anything when, in 26th of April, 1986, the reactor exploded.
The abandoned Pripyat elementary school was also evacuated when the children were actually in classes.
And the tour guide says that none of the items in there were ever touched or re-placed.
