Working with a grid and a Hex colour wheel, I wanted to use colour as a measurement of time. In this piece, each hour is represented by the clockwise movement around the colour wheel, fading from one colour to the next as the day progresses and we transition through the hours, from morning to afternoon to night. The colour’s of each hour are offset next their complementary colours, suggesting the notion that time zones have their own complementary times. The piece progresses inwards, around the clock, measured in hours, to the moment this day ends and a new one begins and it's time to say GM again.
