This living photograph reimagines 16th century Venetian artist, Titian's, masterpiece, "Bacchus and Ariadne." In the famous Renaissance era painting he depicts a love story from Greek poetry of Bacchus, the god of wine, and Ariadne, the princess of Crete. Bacchus, along with his group of rowdy drunken friends, is captured in the painting admiring the beauty of the princess and the two fall in love at first sight. My modernized take on this was to introduce a familiar contemporary sort of 'love story'; that between the paparazzi and the princesses of today's society, supermodels and celebrities.
