This artwork is made of a collection of the very first images created using the first generation of my AI art models.
In 2011, I wanted to build AI models that generate art, but it was not feasible to do so with the resources I had back then. So, I paused my efforts on the ‘generation’ problem and worked on analyzing similarities between pieces of art using AI instead.
In early 2020, my brother encouraged me to revisit the idea of AI-generated art and I started experimenting with it. He helped me analyze and improve the quality of my model throughout my experiments. I made this NFT for him as a (non-fungible) token of appreciation for his helpful suggestions and for giving me the push I needed to get started.
