"Sol" is a surrealist mixed media piece combining a photo I took in San Clemente, CA in 2019 and generative textures coded in JavaScript targeting HTML5 canvas, executed in 2024.
"Sol" is a reminder that even when things look black and white, we settle into our routines, and the people and things around us lose their novelty, the infinite sublime is always right there if we just stop and have the courage and determination to change our perspective.
