It’s in the name. We artists are the generators — degens literally means degenerates. You leech from our work, drain the lifeblood out of it, suck the carcass clean, and disappear.
You’re not the heroes you think you are. You’re steroid-fueled parasites of the space. And if given the chance, you'd run the same circus again — maybe dressed in new buzzwords, but with the same rotten playbook, once again leaving real value in the dust.
Some will say these words are harsh. But what’s truly brutal is the behavior this mentality inflicts on the actual builders — the ones creating meaning, beauty, and human value. Of course, shooting the messenger is easier. It lets the hypocrites keep ruling and the desperate keep groveling for crumbs at their table.
