As if painted by dawn's light, this surreal morning on Lake Minnewanka was one of the most inspiring scenes I've ever come across. The stillness mirrored the grandeur of the dreamy mountains looming in the distance. Upon capturing, I had no idea as to the rarity of this special landscape. After years of returning, seeking to re-capture the magic of this moment, I've yet to experience the stillness of this day. What a beautiful reminder that the spark of that first encounter is often impossible to replicate.
