:20 X2 looping mp4 video. 1080X1080. 30fps. This piece is intended as a video counterpart to my kinetic GLB sculpture of the same name. It is an interpretation of the sculpture - one way, among many, to represent that sculpture as pixels on a screen. The two pieces are meant to be linked together - at least initially. They help open the world up to what digital kinetic sculpture can be and how the object can take on new life when placed in different contexts and interpreted through different lenses. The object - the GLB file - is the key to unlocking this world of possibilities. Of note are two small enhancements I made to the GLB file for this rendering - I added additional smoothing and resolution, as well as slight thickness, to the cloth. I also subtly adjust some vertices to remove problematic areas that were not possible to fix in the GLB file. Both of these enhancements are permissible to anyone who owns the GLB file. This piece will not be sold, but will be gifted to the initial buyer of the GLB sculpture.
