Averroes was a polymath, skilled in many areas from math to psychology to physics. He is famous for his interest in philosophy, as he analyzed Western philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle through an Islamic lens. He questioned the existence of the universe, and encouraged the pursuit of wisdom.
