Freud was a psychologist who defined several significant psychological terms like the unconscious mind, transference, and free association. While his work changed the way people viewed the mind, he was deeply misogynistic, and some of his theories relied on inaccurate perceptions of men and women. Freud is known as the father of psychoanalysis.
