I wasn't seen
I wasn't heard
I was just a textbook
On a shelf in a store
But then one day
A student came in
And they chose me
To help them learn
Now I'm open
And being read
And I'm happy
To be of use
For I know that
With every flip of a page
My knowledge is being imparted
And that's a good feeling indeed
