A Girl and Her Moon
One of my favorite early works on the iPad using the app Paper by Fiftythree [2012]. It was a themed "challenge of the week" from the developers as their following was beginning to grow. The limited tools, colors, and options (like no zooming in) of the app at the time, made this very satisfying to complete.
My daughter was the inspiration for this piece, taking a rest after what seemed like hours playing in the front yard with a giant exercise ball. Even after the years go by, this image still fills me with peace.
