'Create Your World' is inspired by my own experience of being an aspiring young digital creator. I grew up in a troubled home and was a lonely kid. I found solace in art and constantly drew. Unfortunately, art supplies proved expensive, and my parents were not well-off so I always made do with whatever I could get my hands on. This all changed when one of my childhood best friends introduced me to the vast world of digital art. The unlimited potential of drawing digitally sinked in and I begged my parents for my first-ever drawing tablet which came with a starter version of Photoshop. From there, I devoured every single piece of material I could find on improving my technique, new inspiration, and most importantly finding like-minded friends. Now, I am a full-time artist, and without digital art, who knows where I would be. Art truly has always been my life-line, and through it I was able to pursue my dreams and create my own reality.
JumpStart Designers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to provide computers & digital art programs to kids in underserved communities. With this fundraiser we will be able to provide 30 kids with the tools, education, and mentorship they need to succeed in the digital art world. This event was completely powered by MoonPay!
