Marlon grew up in a very dangerous neighborhood. It has hardened his character. From an early age he had to survive and defend himself. One day he was walking home through a dark alley. Suddenly, he tripped over an object. He stood up and tried to see in the darkness what it was. He saw an object wrapped in a black cloth. He unwrapped the cloth and saw an antique gun. In their neighborhood, not even a bicycle could be left outside, so he took the gun away to keep it from being stolen by someone else. When he got home he looked closely at the gun; he saw the initials E. L. Brown. The trigger was engraved with the number 100. He decided to go to a field outside of town and try to shoot it. He found a clear field with no one around. He pulled the trigger and right after the shot Marlon was thrown back hard. When he woke up, he shook himself off and thought the gun should be sold. As he walked toward town, he saw that on the horizon he could not see the usual tall houses, but only low wooden buildings.
