An Observation made within Sam Spratt's "IX. The Monument Game" - I see the circle of life with multiple stages intersecting. Each mini scene is a period of time and an experience from birth thru to maturity and eventually death. Sam's focus on family and friends is keen here with the skulls/masks represented across multiple scenes. All participants experience a version of this birth, life and death. The "journey" ends at the monument which brings us to the present where all stages culminate in this grand structure that is the physical embodiment of the monument game.
