My artwork, Stillness, was inspired by aspects of each of the Seven Laws of Spiritual Success. The still, silent and meditative state of the girl holding the butterfly is the experience of Pure Potentiality. The moment the girl shares with the butterfly is a gift that is reciprocated by giving her attention, appreciation and time. In doing so, she fosters a harmonious energy flow between nature and herself. The butterfly's existence is effortless and care-free. The butterfly doesn't aspire to be a butterfly, it just is. The girl's connection with the butterfly anchors her into the present. By being present she is freed from the burdens of the past and she can focus her attention on the here and now. It's easy to let preoccupations obscure the beauty in front of our nose, but in doing so, we quell the search for our higher self.
