The Calycanthus Thunbergiana is a scarce, large plant and can be found only in dark, shadowy places. It blooms once a year, for 5 months. It has huge, triangular leaves, which are usually dark yellow. It also grows quite small flowers, which can be purple, white, dark purple and yellow. These plants grow within short distances from each other, but it's quite straightforward to control and maintain their growth. They have no real use. As a defense mechanism the Calycanthus Thunbergiana taste very bitter. They rely on water currents to carry their seeds away to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow small, inedible fruits.
