The Coix Delavayi is an uncommon, giant plant and can be found only on large tropical islands. It blooms once a year, for 5 months. It has small, fan shaped leaves, which are usually forest green. It also grows decent sized flowers, which can be light silver, grey, light gold, dark red and yellow. These plants grow in large groups, but it's tricky to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as an energizer when eaten. As a defense mechanism the Coix Delavayi mimics the overall look of a different, poisonous plant. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, inedible nuts.
