Lemonade, or, Lemonade for A.L. Crego
Crego complains a lot about needing to be recognized as an O.G. and having sales to match. In one Twitter thread, he was complaining about digital abstract artists and implying that anyone could do it. He jokingly posted an A.I. output of an image that I found quite beautiful. The prompt was related to Joan Miro, but I can't recall it. I used his basic A.I. output as inspiration, redrew my version in Photoshop, and started running it through several rounds of my process (printers, scanners, digital manipulations.)
I was pleased with the effort, took Crego's lemons, and made Lemonade. Lemonade is also my first piece that had anything to do with A.I. and directly led to further exploration and the Ghosts project.
