Endless Horizons

The second installment in my "Layerize" series here on Ephimera. This is by far one of my favorite images that I've captured in my career. It was captured during my first ever solo backpacking trip up in the mountains. Taken up at the same location as the other two images in this series. This peak is definitely one of the most stunning viewpoints on Vancouver Island for some epic telephoto goodness. This image originally started out as a cool-toned mid-morning photo. But as I processed the image, I began to see the potential for a much warmer and more dramatic piece. I decided to warm up that morning sky and do my usual color touch-ups and alterations in order to come up with this final piece of work. The winning bid will receive a 16"x24" metal print of this image shipped to a location of their choice.
