I saw wars,
Swam through flood,
Survived in famine.
Lost my own flesh and blood.
Iâve lived through racism,
Experienced sadism.
And dreamed of a better world.
A world with peace, love and freedom,
A world i can trust,
Thatâs easy and not so fearsome.
I want to see people kind and loyal,
Without any exceptions including the royal.
When suddenly I awoke to a rude shock in the mirror,
That I first needed to be a better doer.
While Chaos continues around me
And nothing makes sense ,
I choose to change for the better
And hopefully influence my friends.
Iâve used acrylics, digital effects, 18 carot gold leaf , gold paint and real feathers to create this mixed media work.
