The Wright Flyer was one of the most important aircraft of the pioneer era. and built by two American brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright at the beginning of the 20th century, it is generally considered the first heavier-than-air motorized vehicle to have performed controlled flight, on December 17, 1903.
