"Illuminatus," Latin for "enlightened," is a great sword from the 13th century. According to the tales of yore, it was gifted to Frederick II as a relic from the Church. The sword gained popularity among nobility during the late medieval and early Renaissance periods, not only as a weapon, but also as a symbol of power and prestige. Some historians claim Frederick customized the sword with an inscription on the handle that senses the will of the wielder, feared by many throughout the ages nonetheless.
