The GIFed Out collection began as an experimental series in August 2022 and now marks a turning point in my artistic evolution.
Using stop motion animation in conjunction with my hand-cut collage art allows me to transform the rigid poses and frozen expressions of the nude models into fluid, dynamic figures. By adding this layer of motion, I explore the intersection of nostalgia and technology, and challenge the ways in which we think about both.
