APPARITIONS A.I. by Peace

APPARITIONS A.I. is a contemporary art collection which intends to provoke emotion and encourage reflection on our place within the world. By utilizing specific color theory for each piece, directing the viewer’s eye to unexpected places, and enmeshing the concepts of abstract expressionism with Burke’s sublime art theory, each piece aims to capture a single moment in time. This collection focuses on the randomity of the human experience and the ways in which nostalgia informs our past, relevance informs our present, and fears inform our future.  There are 40 individual ORIGIN pieces in the collection, with each one having 1-5 derivatives, or VARIANTS, that branch off from it; this culminates to a total of 200 works. The creation of APPARITIONS A.I. was multimodal and included Procreate, various software from Adobe Creative Cloud, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.
